75 cornish stone
20 wollastonite
10 china clay
5 talk
5 petalite
fire to 1260C with an hour soak

colour added with commercial stains and in combination with metal oxides. the pale colours (celadon-like) come from stains in low percentages (less than 1%).

white slip: 85 ball clay / 15 china clay
